Tourism Minister meets with Esquel Council regarding La Hoya ski center

Provincial Tourism Minister Diego Lapenna met with the Esquel Deliberative Council to discuss the concession status of the La Hoya ski center. Councilwoman Liza Arrúa described the meeting as “muy positivo,” noting that the minister is expected to submit a formal report with a conclusion by October.

The discussions included the possibility of creating a local working group to provide regional input. Additionally, the provincial executive is maintaining contact with the Trappa group in Bariloche to optimize the ski center's operations.

Separately, concerns were raised regarding the financial impact of a recent judicial ruling on the Cooperativa 16 de Octubre, specifically how the resulting economic costs might affect its members.
