Tourism trends show growth in Pieve di Soligo and activity in Rieti

Tourism data for various Italian regions shows varying trends in visitor arrivals and stays. In the Rieti province, 2025 saw 27,281 arrivals and 51,764 presences. The city of Rieti recorded the highest volume, accounting for 35.8% of arrivals, though visitors stayed an average of 1.9 days compared to 3 days in the rest of the province. Other notable locations in the province included Magliano Sabina and Amatrice.

In Pieve di Soligo, the first half of 2026 showed growth, with over 6,000 arrivals, a 17.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Presences exceeded 12,500, up 22.4%, and the average stay rose to 2.1 nights. While the Italian market remains the largest, international visitors from Germany, Austria, and the United Kingdom are increasingly frequenting the area within the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
