Tourist rescued in Albania as infrastructure concerns rise in North Macedonia

In Albania, a tourist was rescued from a ravine in the village of Kaprre, within the Shalë Administrative Unit of Shkodër. The individual was exploring the area with four others when the accident occurred. The Albanian Air Force deployed a Black Hawk helicopter to conduct a search and rescue operation. The tourist, who suffered a leg fracture, was evacuated and transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for medical treatment. The other four tourists involved were reported to be in good health. Defense Minister Ermal Nufi confirmed the Air Force's readiness for emergency life-saving interventions.
