Tourists and locals flock to João Pessoa's Hotel Globo for sunset and art exhibition

More than 150 tourists and residents gathered at the Hotel Globo in João Pessoa on Saturday, 25 May, to watch the sunset and attend the exhibition “Recortes de um passado recente” by visual artist Danielle Travassos. The show, featuring about 40 paintings, photographs, collages, frottages, site‑specific works and acrylic pieces, is part of the city’s 441‑year founding celebrations. The venue, run by the municipal government through the Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope), also houses the free‑admission Celeiro Espaço Criativo. The exhibition is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00 until 24 August.
