Tours culinary scene sees new restaurant and pastry openings

The Saint-Gatien Cathedral district in Tours is experiencing several culinary developments. New establishments include La Belle Vue, a food court and rooftop bar located in a former clinic, and the Ganache pastry shop, the second location from the founder of Beurre Noisette.

Near the Loire, Rue Lavoisier has also seen updates. The crêperie La Grange des Celtes has undergone renovations, and Le Bistro des Frangins has opened nearby. This new bistro features a wine-focused concept with a selection of bottles from the Loire, Rhône, and Burgundy regions. The menu emphasizes traditional French meat dishes, such as duck with honey-mustard sauce, with fixed-price options and lunch formulas available.
