Tower of Fantasy PS4 version to shut down

The PlayStation 4 version of the free-to-play MMORPG Tower of Fantasy is scheduled to shut down on October 4. Developer Hotta Studio and publisher Perfect World stated that the decision stems from performance optimization issues and application size limitations.

While the PS4 version will be discontinued, the PlayStation 5 version will remain online, effectively making the title a PS5 console exclusive. The game, which debuted on PC and mobile before arriving on PlayStation in 2023, maintains a 3.71-star rating on the PlayStation Store.
