Tower Records to release Shibuya landmark signage room light mook

Takarajimasha has announced the release of the ‘TOWER RECORDS OFFICIAL BOOK Kanban Sonomama Oheya Light’, scheduled for October 22, 2026. The brand mook features a specialized room light designed to faithfully replicate the iconic signage of the Tower Records Shibuya store.

The LED light is designed to capture the three-dimensional texture of the logo and pillars. It offers three lighting modes—strong, weak, and a slow flickering ‘fluctuation’ mode—and operates cordlessly using three AAA batteries.

In addition to the light, the accompanying booklet will cover the history of Tower Records, music trivia, and details regarding the renovated floors of the Shibuya location.
