TowneBank expands Charleston presence with new leadership

TowneBank and its division, Dogwood State Bank, have announced the appointment of Scott Sharp as market executive to lead banking operations in Charleston. Sharp, who brings over 20 years of financial industry experience including a previous role as regional vice president at TD Bank, will oversee the expansion of services in the region.

As part of this growth, the Dogwood State Bank location in Mount Pleasant at 302 Wingo Way will undergo a rebranding to TowneBank starting in November. The bank is also deploying a newly formed private banking team to provide customized lending and financial solutions to professionals, business owners, and medical and legal practices in the Charleston area.
