Township Rollers appoint Sreten Pavlovic as head coach

Botswana Premier League club Township Rollers has appointed Serbian tactician Sreten Pavlovic as head coach on a season-long contract. Pavlovic replaces interim coach Oupa Kowa to lead the Gaborone-based side through the remainder of the 2026/27 season.

The appointment follows a difficult start to the FNB Premiership campaign, with the club currently sitting in 11th position. After five league matches, the team has secured only one victory, resulting in five points and leaving them nine points behind the league leaders.

Pavlovic brings regional coaching experience from stints in South Africa and Eswatini, most recently serving as head coach for Malanti Chiefs. Club chairman Thapelo Pabalinga stated that the club sought a leader with the tactical acumen and winning mentality required to restore the team's competitive standing and pursue domestic cup success.
