Toy Story 5 deleted scene featuring Jessie and Bullseye to be included in home release
A deleted scene from Toy Story 5, depicting the first meeting between characters Jessie and Bullseye, will be included in the film's upcoming home release. The sequence, which was cut before the final theatrical version, exists as a hand-drawn 2D animation accompanied by dialogue and sound effects.
The flashback was set to take place just before the events of Toy Story 2, showing Jessie meeting Bullseye after he became part of Al's collection. During the scene, Jessie would have learned about Bullseye's previous owner, Charlie, and the two characters would have bonded over their shared experiences of being alone.
The home release is scheduled for digital availability on August 18, 2026, followed by 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD releases on September 22, 2026. Despite the removal of the scene, Toy Story 5 has been a significant commercial success, grossing over $1 billion globally.
