Toy Story 5 to arrive on digital platforms August 18

Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” is transitioning to digital platforms following a successful theatrical run that grossed over $1 billion worldwide. The film is scheduled to arrive on digital services, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Sky Store, on August 18.

The plot centers on the conflict between traditional toys and modern technology, featuring the return of characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear. The story introduces Lilypad, a hyper-modern tablet, as a new competitor in the lives of the toys and their owner, Bonnie.

The digital release will include various bonus features, such as behind-the-scenes footage from the recording booth, casting insights featuring Conan O’Brien and Greta Lee, and a collection of deleted scenes.
