Toya Group and Tauron report divergent financial results

Toya Group reported revenues of nearly 377 million PLN for 2025, with 256 million PLN originating from telecommunications activities. The group achieved a net profit of 74 million PLN and an EBITDA exceeding 110 million PLN. A key strategic focus for 2025 was geographic expansion into the Silesia region, involving infrastructure development and business service sales. The company plans to continue investing in telecommunications, data centers, and network modernization through 2026.

Tauron Polska Energia estimated a net profit of 1.6 billion PLN for the first half of 2026, representing a 24 percent year-on-year decrease. Despite the decline, management characterized the results as good, noting that revenues remained stable at approximately 17.3 billion PLN. The decrease in profit was attributed to factors beyond the company's control, including lower tariff levels, reduced wind speeds affecting renewable energy production, and regulatory account settlements. Investment expenditures rose to 2.4 billion PLN, primarily targeting distribution and renewable energy segments.
