Toyama and Ishikawa residents receive business support after heavy rains

Following the heavy rains starting August 27, 2026, several companies are offering support to residents in Toyama and Ishikawa prefectures located within areas covered by the Disaster Relief Act.

Mouse Computer has announced a special maintenance service for its products and iiyama LCD displays. From August 27 until February 28, 2027, the company will provide free repair diagnostics and labor costs for affected customers. While natural disaster damage is typically excluded from standard warranties, this program offers parts at special discounted prices when replacements are necessary.

Hirota Securities is also providing assistance to customers in the affected regions. The firm will offer accommodations for those who have lost their registered seals and will attempt to facilitate same-day payouts for the sale or cancellation of financial assets upon request.
