Toyin Abraham faces controversy over leaked audio involving Funke Akindele

A leaked audio recording, approximately 12 minutes long, has sparked controversy involving Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham. The recording, reportedly a private phone conversation between Abraham and a TikTok personality known as Bisgold, was released online by blogger Mama Esabod.

In the audio, which is primarily in Yoruba and Pidgin, the fan makes derogatory remarks about fellow actress Funke Akindele. Critics have accused Abraham of failing to intervene or discourage the insults, noting that she appeared to laugh during parts of the conversation. Supporters of the actress argue that she did not personally insult Akindele and that the recording was an unauthorized breach of a private call.

The incident has reignited public scrutiny regarding the existing tension between Abraham and Akindele, following previous social media interactions and perceived friction at industry events.
