Toyosi Adesanya shares journey through infertility and surrogacy

Nollywood actress and producer Toyosi Adesanya has shared details regarding her long-term struggles with fertility and her journey to motherhood. During an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Adesanya revealed that she spent 15 years in her first marriage without being able to conceive. She noted that she underwent five surgeries in 2022 in an attempt to conceive, a process that led her doctor to advise her to stop further procedures.

Adesanya, who married Ajibola Oyin Adejobi six years ago, welcomed a baby girl in March 2026 through surrogacy. The couple reportedly began their surrogacy journey in 2024 following previous unsuccessful IVF attempts and other medical procedures.

The actress also credited fellow actress Iyabo Ojo for providing significant support during her marital crises and fertility challenges, noting that Ojo stood by her during difficult periods in her previous marriage.
