Toyota and Lancia achieve milestones at Rally Chile

Rally Chile delivered significant milestones in the FIA World Rally Championship. Toyota Gazoo Racing secured its sixth consecutive manufacturers' title, equaling the record set by Lancia between 1987 and 1992. This achievement brings Toyota's total to 10 WRC manufacturers' championships. Oliver Solberg claimed victory for Toyota, leading a one-two finish for the GR Yaris Rally1.

In the WRC2 category, Yohan Rossel and Arnaud Dunand secured a victory for Lancia Corse HF driving the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale. Rossel won nine out of 16 special stages and finished eighth in the overall classification. This win marks Lancia's first gravel victory of the season and strengthens their leadership in the WRC2 championship.

Championship leader Elfyn Evans maintained his title contention despite late setbacks during the event. Meanwhile, Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov were forced to retire from the WRC2 race following a rollover during the seventh special stage while leading the category.
