Toyota announces limited 60th Anniversary Corolla Special Edition

Toyota has announced the 2027 Corolla 60th Anniversary Special Edition to celebrate six decades of the model, which first launched in Japan in 1966. This limited-production model is restricted to 2,500 units for the North American market.

Based on the SE Hybrid trim, the special edition features 18-inch wheels, 60th Anniversary badging, and a 10.5-inch infotainment screen as standard. It is available in two colors: Ice Cap and Supersonic Red. The interior includes sport seats with black and red fabric inserts and dedicated door sill plates.

The broader 2027 Corolla lineup includes both gasoline and hybrid options. Gasoline models utilize a 2.0-liter engine producing 169 hp, while hybrid models employ the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System, delivering a combined 50 MPG. All models will come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite.
