Toyota C-HR reaches 2.1 million global sales in ten years

The Toyota C‑HR, launched in 2016, has marked a decade of strong performance, selling more than 2.1 million units worldwide, with over 1.2 million of those in Europe. The model has secured an average 7.7 % share of Toyota’s C‑SUV sales and enjoys high owner satisfaction, with a 74 % approval rate that exceeds the segment average.

The second‑generation C‑HR, introduced in 2023 and built in Europe, adds a sportier design, advanced hybrid and plug‑in hybrid powertrains, and premium interior features such as 64‑colour ambient lighting and a fully digital driver cockpit. The model has been effective at attracting new customers, with 67 % of 2019 buyers choosing Toyota for the first time.
