Toyota Corolla celebrates 60 years of production

The Toyota Corolla is celebrating 60 years since its initial debut in 1966. A significant portion of the vehicle's production for the United States market takes place at the Toyota Mississippi plant in Blue Springs.

Since the facility was announced in 2007, the plant has produced over 2 million vehicles. Currently, every gas-powered Corolla sold in the United States is manufactured at this location. The facility employs a crew of approximately 2,400 team members who handle processes ranging from steel stamping and body welding to painting and final inspection.
