Toyota Corolla performs well in TÜV inspections

The Toyota Corolla, specifically models produced from 2019 onwards, has performed well in the ‘Auto Bild TÜV-Report 2026’ regarding vehicle inspections (HU). The report indicates that the overall quality of the compact model is fundamentally sound, with chassis components receiving exemplary marks.

Despite the positive inspection results, the models show a notable weakness in breakdown behavior. The Corolla lineup includes various configurations such as the five-door hatchback, sedan, Touring Sports station wagon, and the Corolla Cross, which offers all-wheel drive options. Recent updates to the line include a fifth-generation hybrid system introduced during the 2022/2023 model facelift.
