Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines announces Esports GT Championship finalists

The 2026 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship National Finals will take place on September 27 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event features 20 finalists selected from over 400 participants who competed in qualifying rounds using the Toyota GR 86 on the virtual Laguna Seca racetrack.

The finalists are divided into two categories: the Sporting Class and the Junior Class, with 10 drivers in each. Champions from both classes will receive PHP 100,000 and a slot to represent Team Philippines in the Asia Finals. Runners-up will receive PHP 75,000, with the highest-scoring runner-up also earning a spot on the national team.

Since its launch in 2020, the tournament has served as a pathway for digital racers to transition into professional motorsports through the TGR Philippine Cup. The event will include live displays of vehicles such as the GR Yaris, GR Corolla, and GR 86.
