Toyota teases Glanza facelift ahead of October 14 launch

Toyota has released teasers for the upcoming Glanza facelift, which is scheduled for launch in India on October 14. The teaser highlights a redesigned front profile, featuring a new mesh-pattern grille with a silver surround and a repositioned Toyota logo on the bonnet.

As a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Glanza facelift is expected to adopt several updates from its sibling, including a 1.2-litre Z-Series three-cylinder petrol engine producing 83bhp and 112Nm of torque. Expected premium features include ventilated front seats, a cooled wireless charging pad, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and potentially Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.

Separately, Toyota is reportedly preparing to launch a new hybrid model in the Indian market. This upcoming vehicle is claimed to offer high fuel efficiency, potentially exceeding 30 km/L, as the company seeks to strengthen its position in the growing hybrid segment.
