Toyota launches limited-edition GRMN Corolla with 730 units worldwide

Toyota Motor Corporation unveiled the GRMN Corolla, the most extreme version of its GR Corolla line. Production is capped at 730 units for the global market, with deliveries slated for the United States, Japan and Australia by the end of summer 2026.

The model is powered by a 1.6‑liter turbocharged three‑cylinder engine delivering 304 hp and 410 Nm of torque, paired with a six‑speed manual gearbox and the GR‑FOUR all‑wheel‑drive system. Weight has been reduced by about 66 lb after the rear seats were removed, and extensive carbon‑fiber components—including a hood, front fenders, side spoilers and rear wing—were added to improve aerodynamics, a design refined through testing at the Nürburgring.

Inside, the car features semi‑bucket seats, Alcantara‑trimmed interior surfaces and a serialized production plaque signed by Akio Toyoda (Morizo). Standard equipment includes Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and a recalibrated power‑steering system. The U.S. MSRP is set at $64,360, positioning the GRMN Corolla alongside high‑performance sports cars in price.

Overall, the GRMN Corolla targets enthusiasts seeking a track‑focused, road‑legal vehicle, combining advanced engineering with extreme exclusivity.
