Toyota Hilux 2.8D hybrid arrives in Lithuania and Latvia

Toyota has launched the new Hilux 2.8D partial hybrid model in dealerships across Lithuania and Latvia. This electrified version combines a 2.8-liter diesel engine with a 48-volt hybrid system, producing a total power of 204 hp (150 kW) and 500 Nm of torque.

The hybrid system is designed to provide smoother acceleration, quieter Stop-Start operation, and improved fuel efficiency without compromising the vehicle's utility. The pickup maintains a payload capacity of over one ton and a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg. It is also engineered for harsh conditions, capable of wading through water up to 700 mm deep.

In addition to mechanical updates, the new Hilux features a redesigned exterior and an interior inspired by the Toyota Land Cruiser, focusing on increased comfort, material quality, and digital connectivity. Safety and off-road capabilities are supported by the Toyota Safety Sense package and Multi-Terrain Select and Monitor systems.
