Toyota Hilux receives aftermarket TV‑KIT for in‑drive television

Japanese automotive parts maker Data System has launched a TV‑KIT accessory that fits the newly released Toyota Hilux (model GUN226, 2026‑onward). The kit enables passengers to watch television on the vehicle’s 12.3‑inch display while the car is moving and retains full functionality of the navigation, lane‑change assist and other driver‑assist systems.

Three variants are offered – a switch‑type with a small on‑off button, a smart‑type that integrates with the steering‑wheel controls, and a built‑in type that mimics a factory‑installed switch. All three install via a simple plug‑and‑play connector, require no wiring alterations, and are priced at ¥27,280 (tax included).
