Toyota Innova Hycross facelift design leaked via patents

Design patents and test mule sightings have revealed details regarding the upcoming facelift for the Toyota Innova Hycross. The updated model is expected to feature a more rugged, SUV-like front fascia that draws significant design inspiration from the Toyota Hilux.

Key exterior changes include a redesigned diamond-style honeycomb grille, a black top trim, and polygonal fog lamp housings. The headlights are expected to become slimmer, potentially utilizing projector technology with updated daytime running light configurations. While the front end will undergo a major transformation, the bonnet design and side profile—including squared wheel arches and door creases—are likely to remain similar to the current version.

At the rear, the vehicle may receive refreshed LED signatures and minor bumper styling updates. Internally, the facelift is expected to include a larger display and updated cabin features. Despite these aesthetic changes, the powertrain is anticipated to remain consistent, utilizing the existing 2.0-liter gasoline engine and the 184 hp hybrid system.
