The Jeep Wrangler 392 Willys demonstrated an advantage in automatic torque direction, allowing it to engage the front axle upon detecting rear-wheel slip without manual driver intervention. While the Willys specification lacks a factory front locker, its electronic traction control and low-range settings provided effective control during challenging maneuvers.

In contrast, the Land Cruiser series is noted for prioritizing refinement, technology, and everyday usability compared to the mechanical simplicity and V8 power of the Wrangler.
