Toyota Land Cruiser Prado receives extreme lift from Kuhl at Tokyo Auto Salon
Japanese tuning firm Kuhl showcased a heavily lifted version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. The "Blocker Iron Build" upgrade raises the ride height by 178 mm, adds 22‑inch alloy wheels, 37‑inch off‑road tyres and a full steel body protection system. The modified Prado is priced at ¥6.79 million (about US$43,300), with the lift kit alone costing ¥920 000.
A separate gallery of upcoming vehicles highlighted several new models for the Vietnamese market, including the colourful Honda SH150i priced from VND 235 million, the long‑standing Toyota Land Cruiser 70 continuing strong sales in Dubai, Wuling Motors beginning deposits for its Aira EV in Indonesia, and pre‑orders for Mercedes‑Benz GLC in Vietnam near VND 3.4 billion. Other featured launches were the BMW X5 L for China, Hyundai Kona prototype, Ford Transit City electric van, BMW M2 G87 arrival in Vietnam, and a one‑off Maserati MC20 GT2 built for a Taiwanese collector.
