Toyota launches 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, a special variant designed to bridge the gap between the standard model and the high-end Legender version. The new edition focuses on aesthetic and convenience upgrades rather than mechanical changes, retaining the existing engine, transmission, and suspension systems.

Exterior enhancements include a redesigned front grille, gloss-black alloy wheels, a black roof, and dark-finished accents such as the antenna and door garnishes to create a more masculine appearance. Inside, the cabin features dual-tone black and maroon upholstery, ambient lighting, and the addition of a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The Leader Edition is available in both manual and automatic transmission configurations. In the Indian market, the manual 2WD version is priced at approximately 3.651 million rupees, while the automatic version is priced at 3.872 million rupees, representing an increase of about 111,000 rupees over the standard models.
