Toyota launches 2027 bZ electric SUV in North America

Toyota has launched the 2027 bZ electric SUV in the United States and Canada. The vehicle is available in XLE and Limited trims with both Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive options.

Pricing for the 2027 model starts at $34,980 in the US. The base XLE FWD model features a 57.7 kWh battery with an EPA-estimated range of up to 236 miles, while the FWD Plus model offers a range of up to 314 miles using a 74.7 kWh battery. Higher-end AWD models produce a combined 338 hp.

Technical updates for the new model include a built-in NACS charge port for Tesla Supercharger access, battery preconditioning for cold weather, and Plug & Charge capability. The interior has been updated to include a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
