Toyota launches Fortuner Leader Edition in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the 2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition in India. The new special edition is available exclusively in a 4X2 drivetrain configuration, offered in both manual and automatic transmission variants.

Ex-showroom pricing for the 4X2 manual variant starts at Rs 36.51 lakh, while the 4X2 automatic variant is priced at Rs 38.72 lakh. Bookings are scheduled to begin on October 12, 2026. The vehicle is available in three colors: Attitude Black, Super White, and Platinum White Pearl.

The Leader Edition features several cosmetic upgrades, including a sporty black grille, a bold ‘TOYOTA’ bonnet badge, a dual-tone black roof, and black 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior has been enhanced with dual-tone black and maroon upholstery, ambient lighting, and illuminated door sills. Mechanically, the SUV retains its 2.8-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 204bhp with torque ranging from 420Nm in the manual to 500Nm in the automatic model.
