Toyota Launches Limited‑Edition Land Cruiser 250 Ultimate in Madrid; Lotus Unveils Emira 420 Sport
Toyota introduced the Land Cruiser 250 Ultimate, a limited‑edition off‑road model available exclusively at selected Kobe Motor dealerships in the Madrid area. The version adds a high‑capacity Old Man Emu suspension, a reinforced front bumper, a snorkel air intake and other heavy‑duty components developed with Spanish specialist firms.
Lotus announced the Emira 420 Sport, its most powerful four‑cylinder sports car to date. Powered by a 2.0‑litre Mercedes‑AMG engine delivering 420 hp, it accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h. The model features a lowered chassis, upgraded suspension and a lightweight handling package that reduces weight by 25 kg.
Both releases highlight manufacturers’ focus on high‑performance, niche variants aimed at enthusiasts, with Toyota targeting off‑road capability and Lotus emphasizing track‑ready dynamics.
