Toyota launches pre-sale for new Crown series in Taiwan

Hotai Motor has launched the pre-sale for the new generation Toyota Crown series in Taiwan, featuring the Crown Sport and the updated Crown Crossover.

The Crown Sport, which includes the first left-hand drive version seen globally, is available in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) configurations. Pre-sale prices are set at NT$1.75 million for the HEV and NT$2.1 million for the PHEV. The Crown Sport features an E-Four Advanced electronic four-wheel-drive system, a specialized sports chassis, rear-wheel active steering, and variable damping suspension.

The updated Crown Crossover utilizes Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system. The Noble edition is priced at NT$1.57 million, while the Royal edition has seen a price reduction of NT$100,000, now priced at NT$2 million. Both models include advanced technology such as 12.3-inch digital instrument clusters and multimedia hosts.
