Toyota leads Swedish AutoIndex 2026 consumer satisfaction survey

The AutoIndex 2026 survey, a comprehensive consumer study in Scandinavia, has released its results based on feedback from 4,561 private car owners in Sweden. The survey evaluates vehicles owned for up to four years, measuring not only technical reliability but also the overall ownership experience, including driving characteristics, dealer relationships, and service quality.

Toyota secured the top position for the second consecutive year. BMW followed in second place, with Subaru ranking third. Other brands maintaining high satisfaction levels include Honda, Volvo, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Polestar, Kia, and Audi. The results indicate that high owner satisfaction is distributed across traditional Japanese manufacturers, premium brands, and electric vehicle specialists.
