Toyota Motor Philippines and AAP partner for free roadside assistance

Toyota Motor Philippines and the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) have partnered to provide free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance to eligible vehicle owners. The program is scheduled to run from August 8, 2026, to July 31, 2027.

Eligible recipients include customers who purchase a Toyota Tamaraw or Lite Ace starting August 1, 2026. Additionally, owners of vehicles undergoing the Takata airbag replacement under Toyota’s Special Service Campaign are eligible, provided repairs are completed no earlier than August 1, 2026.

The assistance package includes one intervention or a towing service of up to 25 kilometers to the nearest Toyota dealership. Available interventions consist of flat-tire changes, simple mechanical repairs, battery boosting, and fuel delivery. For towing that exceeds the 25-kilometer limit, a fee of P150 per kilometer will apply.

Membership is valid for one year from the vehicle release date. Customers can activate their membership via a QR code on an AAP membership card. For Tamaraw and Lite Ace owners, AAP noted that cargo must be unloaded before towing to ensure operational safety.
