Toyota Motor Philippines launches 2026 Esports GT Championship

Toyota Motor Philippines has launched the 2026 season of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship. The sim racing tournament, played via Gran Turismo 7, provides a platform for virtual racers to potentially transition into professional real-world motorsports.

This year’s competition introduces a new Junior Class for participants aged 18 and below, while the Sporting Class remains for those aged 19 and above. The top 10 fastest drivers from each category will advance to the National Finals on September 27, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center.

Qualifiers are open from August 17 to September 13, 2026. Participants can compete online using a PlayStation 4 or 5, or onsite at various GR performance dealerships across the Philippines, including locations in Makati, Alabang, Cavite, Pampanga, Laguna, Cebu City, and Manila. Champions in both classes are eligible to win PHP 100,000.
