Toyota offers retrofit headlight customization for Land Cruiser 250
Toyota has introduced a new service through ‘Toyota Upgrade Factory’ that allows owners of the Land Cruiser 250 to retrofit round Bi-Beam LED headlights after delivery. Previously, the choice between square-shaped LED headlights and the classic round design was limited to the initial factory order.
The customization service, available starting October 21, 2026, targets the VX grade (including VX ‘First Edition’) produced from April 2024 onwards, including models following the April 2026 partial improvements. The upgrade costs 204,600 yen, including labor, and involves replacing the front bumper and updating the vehicle's ECU to ensure full functionality.
Additionally, Toyota is offering a retrofit option for the fifth-generation ‘Okudake’ wireless charging system. This Gen5 version features a charging area twice the size of the previous generation and supports Qi standard fast charging for 28,600 yen.
