Toyota Prius covers 161,000 km in eight months without major repairs
A Toyota Prius has demonstrated high reliability after traveling 161,000 kilometers (approximately 100,000 miles) in just eight months. The vehicle, used by Shane Somers in the United States for transporting medical supplies to hospitals and care facilities, averaged nearly 670 kilometers per day.
Despite the high mileage, the vehicle required no major repairs. Maintenance consisted of routine operational tasks, including ten oil changes, air filter replacements, and servicing of the cooling system and inverter. The owner maintained the vehicle through regular scheduled service to ensure optimal engine performance.
