Toyota Prius+ reaches 900,000 kilometers for Madrid taxi driver

A taxi driver in Madrid has driven a seven-year-old Toyota Prius+ for approximately 900,000 kilometers. Aside from routine scheduled maintenance, the driver reported that the only component requiring replacement was the brake pads.

The driver anticipates that the vehicle will surpass the 1,000,000-kilometer mark by 2027. The Toyota Prius+ is a hybrid multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) widely used by taxi drivers in Spain due to its interior space and fuel efficiency. The model features a combined output of 136 horsepower from a 99-horsepower gasoline engine and an 82-horsepower electric motor, with an average fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 km.
