Toyota Probox: Custom LED headlights and future design concepts

New aftermarket customization options and design discussions are emerging for the Toyota Probox, a widely used commercial vehicle in Japan.

Dynasty and iifoo have introduced a new LED headlight unit for the 160 series Probox. Designed to achieve a “neo-classic” style, the unit features a retro round design integrated with modern projector LED technology. The product aims to solve common issues found in previous retro-style conversions, such as insufficient light output and water leakage, by utilizing a high-precision housing that follows original Toyota mounting positions for a secure, bolt-on installation.

In a separate discussion regarding the vehicle's evolution, automotive enthusiasts and mechanics are calling for future generations of the Probox to draw inspiration from Toyota’s 2017 TJ Cruiser concept. Proposals for a next-generation model include offering dual specifications: a dedicated 4-number commercial version focused on durability and cargo utility, and a 5-number passenger version designed for family comfort, potentially featuring hybrid powertrains and improved rear-seat ergonomics.
