FIA WEC season finale at Monza to decide multiple championships
The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) concludes its 2026 season at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, where several major titles remain undecided. While Toyota Racing has already secured the Hypercar Manufacturers' championship, the Hypercar Drivers' title will be decided in an internal battle between its two competing crews.
The #8 Toyota crew, consisting of Brendon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi, and Ryō Hirakawa, holds a 17-point lead over the #7 crew of Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck de Vries, and Mike Conway. A top-five finish for the #8 car would mathematically guarantee the drivers' championship regardless of the #7 car's performance.
In the LMGT3 category, the championship is also up for grabs. The #33 TF Sport Corvette, driven by Jonny Edgar, Nicky Catsburg, and Ben Keating, holds an 18-point advantage over the #92 Manthey Porsche. Meanwhile, BMW, Ferrari, and Cadillac are competing for second place in the manufacturers' standings.
