Toyota recreates iconic Pixar ‘Cars’ scene with Le Mans winning hypercar

Toyota and the FIA World Endurance Championship have produced a video recreating a scene from the Pixar film ‘Cars’. The footage features Toyota’s GR010 Hybrid hypercar inside a transparent-sided trailer, accompanied by modified Toyota vehicles, mimicking the sequence where the character Mack transports Lightning McQueen.

The hypercar used in the recreation is a genuine racing vehicle, specifically the No. 7 GR010 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The victory was achieved by drivers Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries, finishing just over 10 seconds ahead of BMW.
