Toyota reduces Corolla Hybrid price by up to R$45,000 for Brazilian PcD customers
Toyota Motor Corporation announced a discount of up to R$45,000 on the Corolla GLi Hybrid for people with disabilities in Brazil. The promotion lowers the vehicle’s price to roughly R$152,000 and is available until 31 July, with eligibility requiring a medical report and related documentation.
In the same market, Toyota’s Yaris Cross – the brand’s first compact SUV with a full hybrid system – logged 15,633 registrations by June, placing it 17th among SUVs nationwide. Six months after its launch, the hybrid version accounted for 40% of Yaris Cross sales. The hybrid model combines a 1.5‑litre engine with two electric motors for a total of 111 hp, delivering fuel‑economy figures of up to 17.9 km/l in the city and 15.3 km/l on highways, and up to 77% lower CO₂ emissions when run on ethanol.
