Toyota reports August 2026 sales decline

Toyota recorded sales of 28,410 units in August 2026, marking a 3.04% decline compared to August 2025 and a 6.90% decrease from July 2026. This decline resulted in the company moving to the sixth position in domestic sales rankings.

The Hyryder was the brand's top seller, accounting for 28.98% of total volume with 8,234 units, despite a year-on-year decline. The Innova Hycross contributed 18% of sales with 5,114 units. Conversely, the Fortuner saw significant growth, with sales reaching 3,504 units, a 39.71% increase over the previous year.
