Toyota announces Corolla 60th Anniversary Special Edition for US

Toyota has announced the 2027 Corolla model for the United States market, featuring a 60th Anniversary Special Edition to commemorate the vehicle's debut in 1966.

Limited to 2,500 units in the US, the special edition is based on the SE Hybrid trim. It will feature an exclusive ‘Supersonic Red’ exterior color, 18-inch machined-finish black alloy wheels, and unique 60th-anniversary badging. The interior includes sport seats with black and red fabric inserts, 60th-anniversary door sill plates, and dedicated floor mats.

The 2027 lineup will include both gasoline and hybrid options. Gasoline models will utilize a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine producing 169hp, while hybrid models will employ the Toyota Hybrid System 5 (THS 5) with a 1.8L engine. The special edition is expected to launch in early 2027.
