Toyota tuning: HKS and BLITZ release performance upgrades

Automotive tuning companies in Japan are releasing new components for Toyota models. HKS has highlighted a historical light-tuning approach for the AE111 Corolla Levin, focusing on bolt-on modifications such as intake, exhaust, and fuel adjustment without altering the engine core to enhance high-RPM performance and cornering.

In contemporary developments, BLITZ has announced the expansion of its ‘Power Con X’ engine output enhancement device to include the updated GR Corolla automatic transmission models (GZEA14H) starting from March 2025. The device features a new switchable mode system and a plug-and-play design. Testing indicates a potential increase of approximately 26.1 PS in maximum output and 24.8 Nm in maximum torque.
