Toyota updates Probox van with standard T-Connect services
Toyota Motor Corporation has released an updated version of its Probox commercial van, effective September 4. A primary feature of this update is the standardization of the T-Connect service across all models through the inclusion of a dedicated communication device (DCM).
The T-Connect suite provides several safety and convenience features for drivers, including Help Net for emergency connections during accidents or health issues, e-Care for driving advice when warning lights appear, and My Car Search, which allows users to remotely check door locks and hazard lamp status via a smartphone.
In addition to the connectivity upgrades, the update ensures compliance with the latest safety and environmental regulations. The Probox is also now available through Toyota’s KINTO subscription service. Prices for the updated models have seen a slight increase of 47,300 yen across all grades, with the gasoline 1.5L models and 1.5L hybrid models both remaining part of the lineup.
