Toyota upgrades bZ4X electric SUV with larger battery and 343 hp
Toyota Motor Corporation introduced updated versions of its bZ4X electric SUV, including the Touring and Lounge models. The new variants feature a larger battery (74.7 kWh for the Touring, 73.3 kWh for the facelifted models) and a Battery Pre‑conditioning function that warms the pack before fast charging.
The facelifted bZ4X now delivers 343 hp (252 kW) and 338 Nm of torque, about 125 hp more than the pre‑facelift, and supports up to 150 kW DC fast charging and a 22 kW onboard AC charger. Reported combined consumption is roughly 14.5 kWh per 100 km, giving an estimated range of about 516 km.
European pricing varies: the Lounge version is listed at €52,790 (rising to €55,790 with options) in Austria, while a fully equipped Czech test model is priced at 1,314,000 CZK (about €52,000).
