Toyota Vietnam drives Veloz Cross to best‑seller status with major incentives

Toyota Vietnam announced a May‑long incentive programme that includes up to 100% waiver of registration tax, a year of body‑insurance coverage, and 0% interest financing for the first 12 months on selected models. The programme, running until 31 May 2026, also offers 50% tax waivers on Vios and Yaris Cross and low‑interest rates of 6.99% on various hybrids.

In April, the Veloz Cross became Toyota’s top‑selling model in the Vietnamese market, delivering 1,503 units—more than double the previous month’s figure and the highest monthly sales since its 2022 launch. The surge is attributed to the incentives, which let buyers save up to VND 75 million on the TOP version and enjoy a year‑long interest‑free loan. Overall, Toyota and Lexus delivered 6,676 vehicles in April, with the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio benefiting most from the incentives.

The incentives aim to boost Toyota’s market share in the compact MPV segment and strengthen its long‑standing presence in Vietnam.
