Toyota Vietnam launches green school initiative in Quang Tri
Toyota Vietnam and the Agriculture and Environment Magazine organized the ‘Toyota Joining Hands to Green Schools’ and ‘The Second Journey of Tires’ programs at Trung Hoa Number 2 Primary School in Quang Tri province on September 10, 2026.
The initiative included donating trees, playground equipment made from recycled tires, and an ‘Exchange Old Batteries – Sowing Green Seeds’ activity to promote environmental awareness among students. This event is part of the ‘Toyota – Green Vietnam Journey’ agreement for the 2025-2028 period, aimed at addressing environmental issues and climate change in Vietnam.
In 2026, the program plans to plant 323 trees across nine schools in Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, and Quang Tri provinces. Dr. Dao Xuan Hung, Editor-in-Chief of the Agriculture and Environment Magazine, emphasized that tree planting and forest protection are urgent and strategic tasks to mitigate the impacts of climate change and environmental pollution.
